Membership at St. Andrews is a great joy indeed!
What does it mean to be a member of St. Andrews? We gather together to celebrate the love of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To join the church means to unite with others in committed Christian fellowship; to enjoy the benefits of Christian community, worship and fellowship; and to serve together in the Kingdom of God.
1) Do you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? We Recommend:
A question of authority. Who is the highest authority, or Lord, of your life? From where or whom do you obtain your values and ideals? What do you cherish, hold high and give assent to as True? Who is the Savior of your life; that is, the one who died for you and whom you now serve?
2) Do you trust in Him; do you put your life in His hands?
A question of discipleship. Are you stepping out on your faith? Are you working on living your faith in your life? Is your faith more than intellectual belief and extended to your personal value system and ethics and lifestyle?
3) Will you serve the Church of Jesus Christ with your love, your intelligence, your gifts and your imagination?
A question of commitment. Will you attend worship, participate in the ministries of the church that God leads you into, support the church with prayers, with love, with service and financially?
