Choir Name

The Choir has no special name but is simply known as PCEA St. Andrew’s Church Choir being an organ of the Church itself.

Statement of Formation

‘The Choir shall be one of the Christian organs of St. Andrew’s PCEA Church, Nairobi mandated by the said Church to co-exist with its other organs as an integral part of worship for the service of the Church and its people, and shall remain under the general supervision of the said Church’ Choir Guidelines - 2007 Edition.

Church Choir

The St. Andrews Choir is a group of faithful singers who love to lift up the Lord Jesus Christ by singing music that honors God. The choir, comprising people of all ages is a highly motivated team with the main focus of our ministry being the exciting opportunity of leading weekly worship services. But we offer more than that, other than the weekly services we have other activities throughout the year including concerts during Easter and Christmas and performances at occasional social gatherings and special events.

Worship is given a high priority at St. Andrews Church and so every Tuesday and Thursday night we have rehearsals, which are the backbone for all we accomplish musically and spiritually as a choir. And each rehearsal evening is more than just rehearsal because as a choir "family", we are committed to a lifestyle of praise and worship.
