Discipleship

Vision

“To embrace new believers in order to support them to overcome the trials and temptations of this world as well celebrate the benefits of faith in Christ. This embrace also extends to older believers and other persons in need of support in specific life areas in a way that cheers them on in their faith journeys”.

Activities:

Participate actively in the youth worship services where calls to salvation and other faith-forming appeals are made to the congregation.
Acquire a ready collection of reading materials to offer to new believers and others in the ministry’s charge.
Lias closely with other relevant ministries such as schools, SAFE and missions in order to seize all discipleship moments.
Develop a team of faith-loving, passionate, mature and committed persons to be the “midwives” in the nurturing situations.
Organize consistent spiritual as well as social gatherings with the discipleship team for the sake of their continuing Christian maturity and fluent bonding.
Minimize the car-park fellowship by assigning specific persons to the task of attending to the matter of teenagers who stay outside the sanctuary.
