Mission

Vision

“To facilitate youth in our faith community to carry the Good News of Jesus Christ to as many communities as God avails opportunity in keeping with the Great Commission”.

Activities:
  1. Support churches and youth fellowships in their evangelism efforts with a readiness to establish churches where none exist and found youth fellowships where none exist.
  2. Continue to honor the letters of invitations we receive from various institutions as much as God helps us
  3. Establish an annual mission to Kiganjo Police College. This ministry will be expanded to other armed forces’ colleges as God avails opportunity.
  4. Prayerfully and responsibly adopt a girls’ school as well as a boys’ school where we offer ourselves as to preach on call, pray for them fervently, supply discipleship materials, open a bursary kitty, form mentoring relationships and such other Christly avenues of supporting and growing the young people in these schools.
  5. Acquire a complete set of mission sound and music equipment by launching a fund-raising initiative for the same.
  6. Prayerfully discern a young person (or persons) who can voluntarily, sincerely, commitedly and passionately take up the task of overseeing the work in the Nendeni Area.
  7. Keep spreading the missional spirit throughout the youth congregations and the St. Andrews community at large through invitations to participate in various missions so that we can become a “missional church” not only by our budget statistic but also by the active presence of congregants in the mission fields.
  8. Develop effective and mutual partnerships with congregations abroad and at home.
  9. Training and equipping the individual mission team members as well as willing members of the congregation on the essence, necessity and modalities of effective outreach.
  10. Keep up spiritual and social gatherings for the mission team to facilitate spiritual and interactive maturity.
  11. Lias actively with the other ministries especially prayer, worship, discipleship, schools in a bid to forge a coordinated front in the mission moments.
  12. Continue to provide leadership in our congregations main missions’ committee as well as its subsidiaries.
  13. Attend to the need of a holistic ministry by surveying the physical needs of the people in the places we minister to and allocating an effective resource towards facing and meeting at least one of the established needs.
